Built in 1865, St Mary's (Catholic) Cathedral has faithfully served the people of Perth for more than 150 years. In December 2009, following its third and final major restoration and expansion, St Mary's Cathedral emerged as 'a beautifully restored, architectural and historic gem' right in the heart of the Perth.
Visitors from around Australia and the world are drawn to St Mary's Cathedral, to attend daily or weekend Masses, marvel at the magnificent stained glass windows, enjoy the guided tours or simply to find welcome respite within its beautiful landscaped gardens, a true oasis in the City.
Public Tours are available every Tuesday at 10.30 am. Tickets for the public tours are available from the Cathedral Office for a AUD5.00 donation. The Cathedral Office is located at 25 Victoria Avenue, Perth.
