Travel Guide - Long Rail Gully Vineyard and Winery are situated in the Canberra Region in one of the most picturesque settings a little north of the Murrumbateman village. The vines are grown in park like surrounds in an amphitheatre layout around a beautiful large dam. The wines produced are Riesling, Pinot Gris, Rose, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and occasionally one of several red blends. As a result of the closest attention to detail in the vineyard during winemaking, the wines show all the elegance complexity and of premium cool climate wines - a wonderful expression of what can be achieved in the Murrumbateman growing area.
