Heritage Wines of Mount Tamborine
Corner Shelf & Bartle Roads, Mt Tamborine, QLD
Travel Guide - Perched on a hillside of magical Mt Tamborine is The Heritage, a majestic building which enjoys sweeping views over the hinterland and out to the Pacific Ocean.

The Heritage which operates as a cellar door, restaurant and function centre, was formerly the Infant Saviour Catholic Church, Burleigh Heads. Owners Bryce and Paddy Kassulke have lovingly restored the former church to create a destination of unsurpassed old world elegance. Among its classic features is the stunning cedar staircase rescured from the stately home Marion Hall on the Gold Coast; high set cathedral ceillings with magnificent iron arches formerly rescued from the old Treasury Building in Brisbane and a magnificent stone open fireplace replicated on an open fireplace in a century old building in Stanthorpe. These beautiful classic features add to the old world charm and help create an ambience of elegance of a former era.

Heritage Wines was first established in 1992 at Cottonvale, on Queensland’s Granite Belt – the home and heart of this family owned and operated boutique winery. This means that the family is in the unique position to do all their own growing and production. Wines from the Heritage range are sold exclusively at the Cottonvale and Mt Tamborine cellar doors.

Many visitors to Mount Tamborine stay on for lunch in the restaurant. The unsurpassed elegance, fabulous food and award winning wines have tempted many to choose the Heritage for their wedding reception or special function or corporate event. Evening functions have their own magical ambiance – with the twinkling candelight, and soft lighting, and looking out to the string of pearls of the Gold Coast lights, the restaurant becomes a romantic fairyland.
