Travel Guide - The Hume and Hovell Walking Track covers a distance of over 440 kilometres. All walking tracks are well signposted providing opportunities for numerous day walks or extended walks taking 25 days over its entire length. Major track heads are developed at Wee Jasper, Cootamundra River (near Tumut) and Henry Angel (near Tumbarumba). Car access to campsites is provided with toilets, fireplaces and tables for the long distant walker. The track follows the route taken by intrepid explorers Hume and Hovell in 1824.
